Jared Leto loves Gucci, but it’s his friendship with the fashion house’s designer Alessandro Michele that is behind the prodigious partnership. Alessandro and Jared look more like brothers than friends and their creative synchronicity has benefited both. Jared is known for his impeccable style and Alessandro ensures that together, they bring great contributions to the brand.
Jared Leto’s name is as synonymous with Gucci as it is “The Joker” or “Thirty Seconds to Mars.” Now, in a new interview with GQ, Jared not only delves into his friendship with Alessandro but also talks a bit about that infamous Gucci head he carried to the Met Gala — apparently, it’s missing and Jared is offering a reward for its safe return.
Speaking about the Met Gala head, Jared was asked what he did with it. He replied as follows.
“Honestly, I have no idea. I think someone may have stolen it. If anyone out there finds it, bring it into your nearest Gucci store in exchange for a pair of dirty sneakers.
Alessandro was the force behind Jared’s replica head that he carried into the fashion event making news and becoming a viral sensation.

In addition to discussing Jared’s missing Met Gala head, he also stated that Alessandro worked on Jared’s costumes throughout his latest tour with Thirty Seconds to Mars. Discussing the motivation behind his stage clothing, Jared stated that he feels more comfortable and more himself on stage singing than he does at any other time.
The revelation was a bit surprising as many people consider performing on stage as a time to dress up or wear costumes, but for Jared, it was the opposite.
When asked if it was better to look unapproachable or natural on stage, Jared replied with the following.
“I would say it’s best to be yourself. And as always, probably good to break some rules.”
